Federal Tax Credit

Bellingham          Lynden

Ferndale             Mount Vernon

A re-enactment of the Energy Policy Act gives homeowners an even bigger opportunity to receive tax credits than before.  As of February 17, the tax credit for installing compliant products into your residence has increased from 10% to 30%, the $200 cap on windows was removed, and the maximum credit has been raised from $500 to $1,500.  In practical terms, buying $3,000 worth of compliant windows results in $900 worth of tax credits making your final cost $2,100.  A more succinct explanation of your advantages can be found on the Energy Star website.

Not all windows and doors meet the tax credit program standards, but the sales staff at Lyndale Glass can help you select the proper product that meets your needs and complies with the program.  Feel free to click on the links below to visit our suppliers’ website for their documentation regarding the Energy Policy Act.
